About the role

As Maintenance Section Head, you will oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role is pivotal in supporting our production objectives and maintaining the highest standards of plant reliability and asset management.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Prepares annual and monthly preventive maintenance schedule and priorities. Perform those maintenance activities based on set schedule and priority.
  • Coordinates with Planning, Production, and Delivery sections regarding daily maintenance schedule based from Annual and Monthly set maintenance schedules.
  • Performs periodic check on machines and equipment to maintain efficient and safe operation.
  • Monitors and check maintenance and production parts and consumables inventory.
  • Supervises, assists, and/or performs actual machine PM, repair, testing and commissioning, fabrication works and other works requiring maintenance skills.
  • Monitors and checks slitter knives and rubber rings dimensional status.
  • Provides engineering support for production activities to ensure maximum production.
  • Evaluates and analyzes machine/equipment troubles and make recommendations and countermeasures for improvements.
  • Develops and revises operating instructions, procedures and specifications for maintenance activities.
  • Prepares monthly reports for Direct Cost, Machine Trouble and Maintenance Summary and other reports as requested by management.
  • Accomplishes all CPAR issued to Maintenance Section including monitoring of effectiveness of preventive counter measure.
  • Arranges weekly maintenance manpower schedule.
  • Ensures overall safety and efficiency of all maintenance works.
  • Orients and trains maintenance personnel on WI’s, safety and other technical subjects. Initiate to provide trainings for maintenance personnel.

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferred Candidate must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering course.
  • Preferably a Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • At least 2~3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing firm.
  • With good leadership and analytical ability, assertive and self-motivated person
  • Good sense of responsibility and has strong initiative.
  • Can work under minimal supervision.
  • Willing to be assigned in Laguna Technopark – Biñan, City Laguna.
